National Explorer Conference

Last week the Edina/Eden Prairie Explorer Post attended the National Explorer Conference at Purdue University in Indiana. Sixteen of our Explorers attended the conference and participated in academic and competition sessions through the week.

The Edina/Eden Prairie Explorers were split into four-person teams for the team competitions and one of the teams received a fifth-place trophy for Crime Scene Investigation. In addition, Explorer Bennett Breyer received first and second place awards in two of the shooting competitions where he competed against hundreds of Explorers from around the country.

Explorers are young people ages 14-21 who are interested in law enforcement. They gain working knowledge of the field through hands-on experience including training sessions and volunteering in the community.

Congrats to all of our Explorers!
